I find the head teacher, teachers and all the other staff sincerely care for the well being of every child in Carlton Primary School regardless of race, religion or if the child is of higher or lower grades.
Complementing the regular curriculum, a variety of after-school clubs are organised to enhance a child’s ability in areas of confidence and further education (e.g. science, art, computer coding, debate & chess clubs), sports and fitness (football, cricket, sports, karate & hip hop dance clubs), entrepreneurship (Carlton Crunchies) and music (choir, piano & violin).
Carlton believes in a well rounded education for all the children. Every teacher works very hard and do their best to ensure that when the child leaves for secondary school, he or she is equipped with the ability to cope with the KS3 syllabus. There is also a dedicated teacher for gifted and talented students who identify the children’s strengths and liaise directly with their parents to help challenge their children further.
Well done Carlton Primary School, for putting a great education system in place for my children. You have my full support.
Ivy, Parent of pupil in Year 5
After living and working in many countries we arrived 1.5 years ago in London and our son has since been in the school. The Carlton Community is diverse, inclusive and caring. We are very lucky to be a part of it. Our son grew and learned in a way that we hadn’t seen before and we are very grateful, but most importantly, he came to school every morning happily and looking forward to his day here.
Alejandra and Carlos, Parents of pupil in Year 3
We are very grateful to Carlton Primary School’s team for the fantastic year that our daughters have spent with you.
When we arrived in London, 11 months ago, they didn’t speak a single English word. Their teachers and all Teacher Assistants have really taken care of them and managed perfectly to include them in classes. Coline, who was really shy at the beginning of the year, has gained in confidence and fully blossomed. Manon, who is very curious, has learned a lot of new skills too: she has enjoyed learning guitar with remarkable Lis, working on science experiments, coding, playing theatre, cricket and all sorts of sports with amazing Sharon, Ray and Abdi.
So, thank you very much for your outstanding teaching, your continuing focus on children, your permanent professional attitude and your playful and positive approach as well. You have definitely helped Manon and Coline to develop their potentials and live an outstanding experience. We have been really well welcomed. Thanks to the office’s team.
We will miss you in France but we will keep the positive breath of Carlton Primary School, good luck and carry on! This school deserves the very best.
